All Aboard for the Torrevieja Stroke Support Group

Members of the Torrevieja Stroke Support Group, TSSG enjoyed a fabulous day out to Cartagena on Friday 30th May.

The weather was perfect for the planned boat trip. Everyone brought food and a huge picnic was spread out on tables on the deck. Some even braved the sea for a swim. A big thanks to all who attended and helped to make the day so enjoyable - special thanks to Karen the tour guide from David's coaches.

TSSG organises various trips throughout the year as well as providing essential support for stroke patients and their families with weekly meetings every Friday from 2.45 at the annexe of the Age Concern Centre in La Siesta. The group offers invaluable advice and information as well as physical and psychological therapy by qualified volunteers, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy.
