FOR INFORMATION AND DIARY

We hope to have time for discussion about our personal aims and goals for 2013 this month now the aftermath of the new year has settled, and how these might be achieved in reality.

One of our long time Committee members has resigned for health reasons. We wish Alex Morrice well and thank him for all the work he has done for TSS in the past. We still hope to see him now and then.

Paul and Pat are looking for bric-a-brac for Car Boot Sales to help fund raising for TSS. Please when you are spring cleaning, or have neighbours doing so, remember all good “surplus to requirements” can help our funds.

The guest speaker on 15th Feb is an interpreter of many years experience. He has some good advice and some funny stories.

The planned list of events shown on January´s programme is being acted upon and the first event is on Saturday 2nd March: Dinner and Show
“The Flamenco for All Dance Group” directed by Raquel Peña: the most prestigious Flamenco teacher in the area. The cost is 12.50 Euros and will be held at The Los Rosales Ballroom and Restaurant, Lemon Tree Road, Campo de Guardamar. Transport can be arranged for non-driving members. Tickets very shortly. We need to sell 200 tickets.

Other events are in advanced planning also:
“Steps for Stroke” - Easter Monday. 1st April.
“Dance for Stroke” – Friday, 31st May.
Coach Outing – late April – your ideas for a destination are needed.

The Committee welcome your own ideas and suggestions as always.
