FOR INFORMATION AND DIARY

The first fund raising event of this year is on 2nd March – these occasions obviously benefit us all and your help in selling tickets and/or attending are important. – Saturday 2nd March: Dinner and Show “The Flamenco for All Dance Group” directed by Raquel Peña at Los Rosales Restaurant. E12.50. Transport can be arranged.

We find that two more Committee members have felt they need to resign from office because of health reasons – David and Sylvia Kerridge – David has not been well for some time and it is with regret they have needed to resign. We wish them well and David hopefully a speedy recovery from the debilitating shingles: he has recovered well from his operation for a hernia. We look forward to seeing them both back with us in time.

We now have three vacancies on the committee!!?

Easter is soon with us and following on from last years successful and fun day on Easter Monday, we again “Walk for Stroke” along the promenade in Torrevieja. Sponsorship forms will be ready in the next week or so, and all details.

There will NOT be a MEETING on GOOD FRIDAY.

We have had a suggestion for the next coach outing in April – visit to a Turrón Factory and meal.
More details later.

We have planned another fund raising event on Friday, 31st May, “Dance for Stroke”. Do you know of any local Dance Groups in your area who might like to participate. This event will be held in the main Town Plaza in Torrevieja from 11.30 am.

The Committee welcome your own ideas and suggestions as always.
