Please note that there are 5 Fridays this month, and on the 5th Friday we make a special visit with lunch. Cost to be announced later.
“Steps for Stroke” was well attended by members and sponsorship raised nearly 1,400 Euros – so very well done everyone. Thank you all & Paul and Pat.
Any items you would like placing on the agenda to be discussed at this meeting should reach Margaret by 10th May. There will be time for AOB but this will not be recorded in the minutes.
We have nominations for “Election of Officers” and should there be any more names with consent again they should reach Margaret by 10th May please. Notices of AGM have already been sent.
It would be good if as many members as possible can attend to hear the reports, support the committee and make any views known.
The owners/manager of Easy Horse Charity will be guest speakers after the AGM. I feel sure you will all find this an interesting and moving occasion. We have the opportunity to visit the stables on the last Friday of the month, 31st May, and take lunch there. Again should be a very interesting outing.
Much is accessible by wheel chair and certainly the lunch area and near paddocks. Please sign list those who would like to go. Who needs transport?.
A reminder that we have several ex-nurses on our volunteer list:
Jeanne, Barbara, Lilybeth and Helen -whose collective knowledge is extensive and who may be consulted on matters “nursing stroke”.
