FOR INFORMATION AND DIARY

We have a slightly changed programme for November, so please study this carefully.

We welcome Suzanne as our new art facilitator.

Art is a relaxing hobby and also an excellent help towards co-ordination after stroke and under Sue´s excellent assistance I hope all will have the courage to try this restful activity, carers as well.

Alicia will be with us on 2nd, 3rd and 4th weeks from now on, as far as she can, to provide occupational therapy. In additional she hopes to start a stroke group for Spanish sufferers and their carers under TSS once a month starting after our meeting on the 2nd Friday of the month. We wish this new development well.

The respite coach outing to Benidorm on Friday 30th November should be booked now with the payment of 6 Euros each, including meal. A list for names is being circulated. This trip will be opened to your friends, AC and RBL members, so your early reservation is needed. For stroke support members only, the outing will be subsidised as above. For non members the cost will be 12.50 euros with meal, and 6 euros without.

EARLY INFO. On December 14th the very popular Torrevieja Flower Arranging club will visit again to help us create a Christmas arrangement -(something different this year I am told).

On the day after – Saturday, 15th December – Christmas Dinner is to be held at Harry´s Bar, Ciudad Quesada. This restaurant is wheel chair friendly. The cost to members will be 7 Euros payable on booking. Friends are welcome but their cost will be 14.75 cents. I would like payment before hand to relieve the committee of work on the day. A booking list is being circulated.
